  • After a lengthy process, Appledystopia has been accepted into Google News.
  • News articles on this site can now be accessed with the Google News app.
  • Appledystopia provides daily technology news with a focus on the Apple ecosystem.

Appledystopia Available on Google News

After almost eight long years of working on this project, Appledystopia is finally available on Google News. Google’s news app makes it easy to follow news feeds from popular websites.

Users can follow their favorite news sources, which are available on the Following tab. The For You screen presents top stories based on your interests. For up-to-the-minute news, the Headlines screen makes it easy to find new, important articles. For those who prefer specific news outlets, the Newsstand tab provides easy access to CNN, NPR, Time, USA Today and other publications and networks.

For those interested in following the Apple ecosystem, Appledystopia is an excellent choice. This site publishes an average of one news article a day. The news is brief and concise, free of clickbait and sponsored content.

Appledystopia does not take money or gifts from corporate sponsors in exchange for favorable reviews. Advertising is the sole business model of this publication. This site does not capitulate to the will of advertisers. It’s all automated. I don’t know or care who advertises on this site. It never influences news coverage. Appledystopia is, and will always be, fiercely independent.

How to Follow Appledystopia on Google News

Following Appledystopia on Google News is easy, and your Following screen won’t be clogged with numerous articles. Appledystopia publishes, on average, one news story per day.

News coverage tends to focus on more important aspects of the Apple ecosystem, such as malware and consumer advocacy. I feel Appledystopia offers something complementary to most other tech news, rather than being part of the Cupertino echo chamber.

You first need to download the Google News app, if you don’t already have it installed. Simply open the App Store and search for Google News. The app is completely free to install and use.

Once you’ve opened and set up the app, you can follow Appledystopia. First, tap the magnifying glass on the top left corner of the screen. Next, type “Appledystopia” in the search field. At the time of this writing, simply typing “Appled” will display Appledystopia in search results. Tap on Appledystopia in the results list. You’ll see the Appledystopia home screen on Google News. Tap on the star icon on the top left to follow Appledystopia.

I hope more of this site’s readers opt to follow Appledystopia on Google News. The more followers I have, the harder I will work to bring you the most fair and accurate Apple news.
